What We Do

Practical Action

We believe that tackling financial exclusion requires a three-pronged approach:

  • Improve access to financial products by increasing participation in credit unions.
  • Improve financial capability and numeracy skills through training and education
  • Improve financial resilience by helping people to maximise their income, promoting a saving and insurance culture, and by providing access to good quality advice

Better Signposting

Does your organization support people who are struggling financially?

We want to increase local knowledge of the support available to people by hosting a ‘Better Signposting’ event in each district across the county.

If your organisation provides support to people at risk of financial exclusion and you want to promote this to frontline workers and volunteers across the district please contact Claire Thornber on 01629 592978
